The Ultimate Lush Review!

07:51

I've been meaning to type up this post for months now! After myself and Chelsea visited the Oxford Street Lush and sent waaaay too much money, I decided I would review all of the products in one post...I just never got round to it. That is, until now.

Windmill - I was instantly drawn to this because it looks super cute on its stick and really stood out as something different. Obviously, it works much the same as any other bubble bar but the design was different and that's enough to convince me to buy something. With its ginger and lime oil scents, this bubble bar smells divine and the ginger is really comforting especially now it's the colder months.

Skydancer - I adore the vibrant colours of this bath bomb, the bright blue on the yellow background is really captivating. The mix of bergamot, Sicilian lemon and cinnamon leaf, this bath bomb gives off a really distinct aroma that I loved! There were definite tones of liquorice in there too which made it even more amazing!

Intergalactic - With it vibrate blue colour and pink, yellow and white band around the centre, it certainly stands out from the crowd and looks very intergalactic. I knew this was a popular item and so naturally wanted to try it...and it did not disappoint! I found the peppermint, grapefruit and cedarwood oil to be a good blend of fragrances, however I didn't find it to be as strong as other lush bath bombs. The feature I did think that stood out though was the captivating deep blue the bath water went and with swirls of glitter flowing throughout, it truly looked like an outer space galaxy!

Pink flamingo - This is another one that stood out to me as the design was something I hadn't seen Lush do before (I saw this at the same time as Windmill okay)! I loved that the stick is the flamingo's leg! The inclusion of the bergamot oil in this bubble bar gives it a zest orange scent along with the hints of yang land and rosewood oils. I particularly love the design of this one and Windmill because I always struggle to break up the bubble bars so I get more than one use out of them, but that's not an issue with these two as you simply swirl the stick around the bath and leave the rest of the side to dry.

Rub Rub Rub - I'm not usually a fan of sea salt scrubs as I find them to be quite harsh on my skin. And although I don't think this body scrub as really changed my opinion on that, it is one of the better salt scrubs I've tried. My favourite thing about it though is the smell. It's simply divine. I'm hoping to pick up the shower scrub of Rub Rub Rub the next time I'm in my local lush as I think the pot might be better than the bar.

Experimenter - Another one who's popularity is ever increasing! I love that this bath bomb isn't the standard sphere shape and not only that but it made full use of it's unique shape by boosting several different vibrant colours of each side. I adore vanilla scents so I loved this bath bomb's scent!

Frozen - Lush would have been insane to pass up on the opportunity to name this bright blue bath bomb after the biggest film of recent times! The grapefruit, rose and neroli oil give off a truly relax scent that transport you to a magical wonderland in the comfort go your own bath tub.

Guardian of the forest - I never use to be a fan of earthy scents but my fragrance pallet has definitely evolved over the years and went I spotted this gem in the store I just had to have it! The design is stunning and the fragrance even more so! The cypress and rosewood oils and oak moss absolute gives off a really green, earthy scent.

Big Bang -  This bubble bar is super cute and the mix of grapefruit and tangerine oils give it a really lovely citrus scent that is uplifting and invigorating. And the added avocado butter nourishes your skin as you drift away and relax.

Milky bath - I couldn't quite believe that this bubble bar has skimmed milk in it because..well, it's just odd! But it really works and it's really nourishing! The design of this bubble bar is super cute with the milk bottle shape and the glitter top as the lid.

Shark infested custard - I hadn't seen the bath oils before going to the oxford street store and I thought I'd give them a go. This one in particular stood out due to the bright yellow colour, its name and its little shark fin. However, as I suspected, I'm not a massive fan of these as I don't like having an oily texture on my skin. So why did you buy it then? Because. Just because.

Gay is okay - Another limited addition soap from lush and I just had to have it! The gold colour and glittery texture drew me in instantly! I love this soap and it's such a shame it was limited edition! It gives off a really creamy texture and is extremely moisturising.
